The Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum 2025 at Cyberport successfully held from 12 to 14 September, having explored how groundbreaking technologies are poised to revolutionise the future of digital entertainment.
As the Strategic Art Tech Partner, Hong Kong Baptist University was proud to play a role in this event, showcasing how innovation and creativity intertwine to shape the future. At our booth, we engaged with visitors, introducing our technology translation initiatives and art tech projects such as HKBU Art Tech Innovation Hub Chrysalis, Future Cinema Systems and the AI-driven system for motion generation.
On 12 September, Mr Raymond Chan, Assistant Director (Entrepreneurship) of the Institute for Innovation, Translation and Policy Research moderated the panel “Soul-Stirring Music, Tech or Not Tech?”. The engaging discussion featured industry professionals including Mr Henry Chu, Media Artist; Mr Terence Ma, Music Producer of Blue Moon Production Ltd.; and Mr Chun Hung Mak, President of the Association of Motion Picture Post Production Professionals. They explored the evolving role of technology in music creation, highlighting how AI and emerging innovations are inspiring new creative possibilities while enriching artistic expression.
