Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group Co., Ltd delegation visits HKBU

A delegation from Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group Co., Ltd (SOHO) visited Hong Kong Baptist University on 19 May. During the visit, representatives of SOHO engaged in meaningful exchanges with representatives of HKBU, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering innovation and cross-regional collaboration.

The delegation, led by Mr Jin Yongfu, Vice President of SOHO, and including senior executives such as Mr Xue Binghai, Mr Shi Xianzhao, and other key leaders from the group and its subsidiaries, toured several of HKBU’s flagship research and creative facilities, including Visualization Research Centre, Life Sciences Imaging Centre, and Whitebox, Organ Recital Hall, and Dolby Studio at the Jockey Club Creative Campus.

The visit provided the delegation with first-hand exposure to HKBU’s advanced capabilities in visualization technology, life sciences imaging, immersive media, and art-tech integration. Both parties expressed strong interest in future collaboration, particularly in areas of bridging technology, culture, and industry application.

This visit further reinforces IIT’s role in building strategic partnerships between HKBU and leading enterprises, supporting the University’s mission to translate research excellence into societal and economic impact.
