To address pressing environmental challenges and advance Hong Kong’s carbon-neutrality objectives, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) will host the International GreenTech Symposium 2025, a premier gathering that garners support and participation from distinguished local and international researchers, industry experts, and strategic investors to exchange knowledge and explore innovative solutions in sustainability and green technology. The symposium will take place at the HKBU campus on 9 October 2025.

This event will showcase technological advancements in two pioneering areas—transforming waste into valuable resources and advancing the complete hydrogen production-to-utilisation spectrum—while highlighting the vital importance of collaboration among academia, research institutes, industry, and government. Distinguished experts and industry leaders will engage in meaningful dialogue to tackle critical challenges in technology translation and commercialisation, share valuable insights on sustaining innovations and driving real-world impact.
