The inaugural FoodMed 2024 Conference in Hong Kong brought together 300+ researchers, practitioners, innovators, and regulators to advance dialogue at the intersection of food, Chinese medicine, and healthcare. Through insightful discussions and a dynamic exhibition, FoodMed 2024 explored scientific validation, safety, regulatory pathways, and real‑world applications of food as medicine, laying a strong foundation for cross‑disciplinary collaboration and evidence‑based innovation.
Building on this momentum, FoodMed 2026 will focus on deepening translation and impact — innovating with evidence-based approach, accelerating technology translation, aligning regulation, and exploring business opportunities. As global interest in Food as Medicine (FAM) gains momentum, FoodMed 2026 will continue to convene global regulators, scientists, industry leaders, and investors to build practical bridges between traditional wisdom and modern innovation, shaping the future of public health through global collaboration and shared expertise.
FoodMed 2026 features an inspiring lineup of keynotes and dynamic plenary sessions, alongside engaging projects and start-up pitching, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Attendees could also gain exclusive opportunity to Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) ’s renowned facilities through guided tours of the Wu Jieh Yee Institute of Translational Chinese Medicine Research and the Centre for Chinese Herbal Medicine Drug Development.
